"KIA FORTUNE LOTTO DRAW / KIA CLAIMING SECURITY AGENCY" is a fake lottery scam run by Nigerian gang abusing the name of the car company. It's probably run by the same China-based gang that runs the fake Toyota Lottery. Similar scams exists under the names "HONDA CAR LOTTERY" and "BMW Land Car Lottery". KIA does not run any lottery that randomly selects email addresses and awards cars and cash to the owners.
Prizes for any legitimate lottery would have to be claimed in the country the lottery operates from. No lottery run by any non-Chinese company uses an agent or bank in mainland China (country code: +86). Any non-Chinese lottery that involves a phone number starting with +86 (China) or +852 (Hong Hong) is by definition fake. See also Japan Email Lottery, a similar and possibly related scam.
Please forward us copies of any replies or money demands by the ""claims agents" (Yahoo Mail: Forward / as Attachment, Outlook Express: Message / Forward as attachment, see "How to report 419 spam to us"). We will publish such replies here.
Please forward copies of fraud emails to the abuse department of the webmail address listed as the contact email for the "claims agent". Ask for the addresses to be suspended because they are used in a 419 fraud (see 419 FAQ).
