"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

URGENT HELP

I am Mrs. HAGGI MAGGI, the wife of the commander in chief, special force for protection of the President. During the reign of President Charles Taylor, my husband was one of those in forefront to oppose the killings of innocent people in the republic of Liberia.

Due to this reason, the then president Charles Taylor jailed my husband in an unidentified place which later revealed that my husband died in prison although that his remains has not been found till date. The problem that led to imprisonment of my husband started when Charles Taylor gave him the sum of $10million to acquire some weapon of mass destruction that will be secretly used to fight the rebels.

But my husband looking at the volume of lives that will be killed if such weapon is used refused to acquire the weapon. The then president noticing this and knowing that he cannot make it known to the world that he wanted to acquire weapon of mass destruction decided to jail my husband and it is now clear that he killed my husband inside the jail to block the truth from surfacing.

My husband before his death foresee what was about to happen told my son to move out of Liberia with the money as he was going to be the next target which he did immediately. My son AMEDFIL MAGGI is currently in south Africa as a refugee and due to the fact that he is not feeling confortable to stay in Africa, he wants now to move this fund out of south Africa.
