"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Read more about such scams here or in our 419 FAQ. Use the Scam-O-Matic to verify suspect emails.

Dear Sir,
To prevent Spammers please reply to:
jamesokadigbo2004@yahoo.com

I am using this means of communications because of timeshortage, so please
kindly bear with me. However, permit me to inform you of my desire of seeking
for your aid and assistance towards securing my inheritance.

I am the first child of late Dr.Chuba Okadigbo who was the senate President,Federal
republic Of Nigeria, Before he met his untimely death, He has earlier told
me identially, that he deposited the sum of US$ 16.3(Sixteen Million, Three
Hundred Thousand, United States Dollars) in a security financial company
in (london) and also told me where he kept the covering documents which I
am in position of now,
So as I was contemplating on how to secure the funds, I now seek for the
consent of our family Attorney who advised me to contact an honest foreigner
that will receive the funds in his or her bank account because my late fathers
code conduct of service did not permit us to operate a foreign account.

Hence my resole to contact you. please I am honourably seeking your assistance
in the following ways.
1)for you to assist me to fly to london and claim the fund from the security
company, this is because as it stands now,The federal govenment has laid
an embargo[confisticated our passports] against all members of okadigbo
family from travelling out of the country untill it completes its probing
protocols against my fathers activities while he was still in office.
2)for you to paythe funds to a designated foreign account hich will begiven
to you as soon as you succeedin claiming the money.
This is a riskfree transaction and your compensatory payment will be discussed
on phone. At your interest to this,Kindly give me your phone and fax number
for easy communication.

Thanks and God Bless.
regards
James Okadigbo
