"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: YOUR RESPONSE.

Dear,

It's my pleasure contacting you. My name is Mr.Rogers Ekeh, a personal adviser
to one of the late Nigeria Politician who died last year 2004 march 16th
after a brief illness.I was directed by his wife, Mrs Onagoruwa to contact
a foreigner who could invest the funds her late husband deposited with a
FIRM in ABROAD before his death. The wife wants somebody who will invest
the funds in real estate business in his country or any other lucrative
business. The amount been deposited with this FIRM ABROAD is US$40M.( Forty
million united states dollars only).

You are entitled of 25% of the profit that will be coming out from the investment.
If you are interested with this proposal, get intouch immediately for further
details on how this FIRM ABROAD, will transfer this said funds into your
bank account for the investment plan.
