"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

CONFIDENTIL BUSINESS.Dear Friend,You may be surprised to receive this letter from mesince you dont know me personally. I am MRS NINA NKOMO

the wife of late Dr.Benjamin NKOMO, whowas murdered in the land dispute in Zimbabwe.I got your contact through the togolaise chambers ofcommerce in my search for a reliable and reputableperson to handle a very confidential transaction thatinvolves a transfer of a fund to a foreign account andI decided to write you.My late husband was among the few black Zimbabweanrich farmers murdered in cold blood by the agents ofthe ruling government of President Robert Mugabe forhis alleged support and sympathy for the Zimbabweanopposition party controlled by the entire minority. Before his death he had taken me and my only son whois 18 years old to Lome Togo as one of the mostpeaceful country in west Africa and alsoa tourist country, to deposit the sum of US$15 MILLION(Fifteen million united states dollars) with asecurity and finance company as if he foresaw thelooming danger in zimbabwe. The money was packed in a trunk box asvaluables/family treasure for security reasons anddeposited with a
security company for safe keeping. This money was embarked from the purchase of newmachinery and chemical for farms and the establishmentof new farms in Lesotho, Swaziland. This land problem arose when President Robert Mugabeintroduced a new land act that wholly affected therich white farmers and some few blacks vehementlycondemned the Modus Operandi adopted by thegovernment. This resulted to rampant killing and mod action by thewar veterans and some political thugs.Precisely, morethan thirty one (31)people have so far been killed.Heads of government from west, especially Britain andUnited States of America have voiced theircondemnation of Mugabes plan. Subsequently, SouthAfrican Development Community (SADC) has continuallysupported the Mugabes new land act,it is against thisbackground that I and my family who are currentlyresiding in Lome Togo, west Africa have decided totransfer my husband money into a foreign account. I am saddled with the responsibility of seeking for agenuine
foreign account where this money could betransferred without the knowledge of my government whoare tactically freezing with my husband wealth andSouth Africas government seems to be playing alongwith them.I am faced with the dilemma of investing this money inSouth African for fear of encountering the sameexperience in future since both countries have almostthe same political history. More so, the Togolaise foreign exchange policy doesnot allow such investment hence we are seeking for anassylum. As a woman, I am entrusting my future and that of myfamily into your hands hoping that you will not betraythe trust, I must let you know that this transactionis 100% risk free and the nature of your business doesnot necessarily matter. For your assistance, we are offering you 20% of thetotal sum, 75% for my family and I while 5% will bemapped out for any expenses we may incure during thecourse of this transaction. We wish to invest our part of the money on commercialproperty based on your
advice. Finally, all we needfrom you is assurance that you will not sit on thismoney when it finally gets into your personal orcompany account in your country. If this proposal is acceptable by you, please confirmyour interest via my PrivateEmail:nina_help1@yahoo.com
