"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Read more about such scams here or in our 419 FAQ. Use the Scam-O-Matic to verify suspect emails.

Subject: RE:FAMILY WEALTH

ATTN: SIR/MADAM.

CONFIDENTIAL

Consider this email authentic because i believe God has chosen you to help
us out from our recent predicament. My father MR. BENSON KHUMALO,who was
recently murdered in the land dispute in Zimbabwe. Before the death of my
father, he had notified me about some money $20.5m (Twenty Million five
hundred thousand United States Dollars) he deposited in Johannesburg South
Africa with one of the private security companies,as if he foresaw the
looming danger in Zimbabwe. This money was deposited in a box as personal
valuables for a foreign partner to avoid much demurrage from the Security
Company. This amount was meant for the purchase of new machines and
chemicals for the farms and establishment of a new farm in Swaziland.

This land problem came when Zimbabwean President MR. ROBERT MUGABE
introduced a new Land Act reform which wholly affected the rich white
farmers and some few black farmers. This resulted to killing and mob action
by Zimbabwean war veterans and some lunatics in the society. In fact, a lot
of people were killed because of this land reformed Act for which my father
was one of the victims.

I must also let you know that this transaction demands absolute
confidentiality. If you accept to assist me and my family, all I want from
you is to help us with an account in your name which will aid us in
transferring the money into any account you will nominate overseas.

NOW MY QUESTION TO YOU ARE:
1.Are you ready to maintain the absolute confidentiality that this mattter
required?
2.What will be your percentage if you have to sponsor this transaction?

Thanks for your mutual co-operation.

wait your urgent response.

MR.NELSON KHUMALO (for the family)
