"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

EMAIL ID VALIDATION.

The holder of a selected winning email ID will contact assigned Fiduciary agent with this email ID for validation. The claimant shall fill out a verification form issued by the agent and mail the verification form to the Claims Department. Once a verification form and all data's provided herein is received at Claims Department and validated, it will not be returned to the winner{s} but retained by the UK Lottery Promotions Board and the claims/payment process will commence. The winner{s} will retain a copy of the verification form prior to mailing Claims Department.

 

PRIZE POOL

The bulk of the prize pool is derived from sponsorship by the major stakeholders in the internet {software and hardware} market and subventions from registered domains listed online that are recognized by the Promotions Board. The amount of the prize pool may be supplemented from the unclaimed prize reserve {those from the National version inclusive.

 

UNCLAIMED PRIZE

All selected winning email ID holders who do not file for claim beyond the 3 months period is not eligible for prize awards. PRESS CONFERENCE
