"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Wells, 

Yes you have just won the sum of total sum of US$1,120,000.00 (One Million, One Hundred and Twenty Thousand United States Dollars) so to claim your fund, you have to send your account where you want to receive your winning lotto money from us so that the account department will process and activate your account before it can be transferred to your account. 

We did this because to keep our record to chows that you have claim your money to avoid any problem. Before this can be done you are required to send the sum of us$ 350.00 dollars fro the opening of account here with us so that we can process and activate your account before onward transfer into your nominated overseas account in your country. 

You have to do this as quickly as possible to process your file for easy transfer of your fund, see the information below which you are to send the money to me for the opening of account on your name, you will send the money through money gram money transfer immediately you receive this email so that I will cash the money and open an account on your name and also to process and active the account before deposit your winning fund money from us.

Destination: Johannesburg South Africa 

As soon as you send the money, your will send the reference number and the send name via my email address to cash and open account for you.

Option 2: 

IF you wish to contact a bank attorney here how will represent you to sign and do other thing on your behave, than we will give you our attorneys contact details how will assist you but bear in mind that you are to care for his expenses.
