"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Friend,

I bid you greetings this beautiful day! It is indeed my pleasure to write to you this letter.

My name is Dr Alonso Antonio, the storage manager, Eurocity Security & Treasuries Limited, Madrid, Spain. I am writing in respect of MR. GEORGE ALBERT, a foreign customer of o ur company who died on September 11, 2001, terrorist attack on World Trade Centre http://www.september11news.com/.

On January 10, 2001 our company had a business transaction with Mr. George Albert. He deposited two Galvanized Consignment that Contains 22 Karat Alluvial Au Gold worth $120 MILLION ( One hundred and Twenty Million United States Dollars). Since the demise of this our customer, I personally has watched with keen interest to see the next of kin but all efforts has proved abortive, and no one has come to claim his $120 MILLION valued 22 Karat Alluvial Au Gold.

Because of the above, I decided to seek for whom his name shall be used as the next of kin because no one has come up as his relation or next of kin. And the country law here does not allow such consignment to stay more than Six years or else the consignment will be recalled to the treasury of Spain Federal Government as unclaimed after all this period.

Upon the receipt of your positive response, we will negotiate after that I will send to you the application, some contacts and the next step to take for the claim of the Gold.

I wil l not fail to bring to your notice that this business is hitch free and that you should not

entertain any fear as all modalities for consignment claim and transfer can be finalized within five working days, after you apply to Eurocity Security & Treasury Limited as the beneficiary to our deceased customer. I as the Storage Manager, I will do the rest underground job as soon as you submit your application to us.

If you are willing and capable of handling this transaction with me kindly send your private Tel/Fax numbers for quick communication. I will be very happy if you can treat this business with the utmost secrecy it demands because of my position in this Company.

Thanks for your anticipated cooperation as I look forward to your positive reply.

Yours sincerely,

Dr. Alonso Antonio.
