"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Dear VICTIM-FULLNAME FRM ALBERT YOUNG

Dear VICTIM-FULLNAME
,
Thank you very much for having time to reply to my letter.
I will be 57yrs by September and by my training as a Public
administrator, and at my age,i should be able to be a distingushed human
being whose desire on earth is to sound positive and be serious,Bearing in
mind also that this transaction is built on transparency. And so it is no
scam.I repeat,it is no scam.

I told you before that i am higly incapacitated to have this fund transfered
from my commission except that i use a foreigner .This is why i need you.
To do this i needd to ensure that we go through all laid down proceedures by
incorporating you here as a foreign contractor and register you also as a
contractor with The Federal Ministry of Agriculture under category 'C' where
application will be made stating the nature and mode of contract which you
executed for the Agric. ministry in 2002 and still awaiting payment.

This will be after my commission might have recommended your payment.
Note also that, all the approvals have to be on your name, hence you have to
send your full name and adress.Your company name (if any)and of course the
nominated account you wish the fund to be transfered to.
Do'nt forget also that for sake of effective communication, your Personal
tel.and fax nos will be required also .I have earlier explained this to you
and it is important that you trust me by assisting us. I will be glad to
have you to assisting us.
Awaiting your response.

ALBERT YOUNG
