"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Response

Dear Friend,

I am very surprised that you insulted me so, regarding my offer; it
pains me so much to be factual. This is all I have worked for all my
life and you think it is a bluff or some kind of joke or what so ever.
This mail might have gotten to you by surprise or something okay but
something you should know is that this is the realest business you have
ever encountered in your life I mean it dearly.

I felt so bad when I received your response I considered sending you
this e-mail, though you might have received similar e-mails but I want
you to know that I CHOW LEE is a man of honor who will forever die
with that honor rather than put up with a sort of hoax on the internet,
that is not a part of me and will never be.

I will prove to you that you are wrong and this business is not a hoax
if you allow me to enlighten you, instead of insulting me of a once in
a life time offer that I presented to you for assistance. I feel very
bad in the terrible manner that you responded to me I feel you owe me
an apology in your next correspondence to me. For now I will wait to
hear from you and let you know the basis of this business if you are
ready.

Yours truly,
Chow Lee.
