"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Greeting to you in the name of our Lord

Mrs Helen Traore
Cocody University Specialist Hospital
Abidjan Ivory Coast
Greeting to you in the name of our Lord,
I am the above named person from cote d'ivoire I am married to Mr. Henry Traore who is was a director general in the ministry of oil and natural resources here ,We were married for eleven years without a child.
He died after a brief illness that lasted for three days. Before his death we were both born again Christian . Since his death I decided not to remarry or get a child outside my matrimonial home.
When my late husband was alive he deposited a consignments ( one trunk box) containing the sum of $22.5MUSD (Twenty Two million Five Hundred
Thousand United State. Dollars)in the security company that has its annex office here in Abidjan.
Recently, my Doctor told me that I have serious sickness which is cancer problem. The one that disturbs me most is my stroke sickness but I pray to God to heal me so that I will be alive and see his work done as my late husband instructed me.
Having known my condition I decided to donate this fund to a church or individual that will utilize this money strickly for the work of God.
I took this decision because I don't have any child that will inherit this money and my husband relatives are not Christians and I don't want my husband efforts to be used by unbelievers,I dont want a situation where this money will be used in an ungodly way.
As soon as I receive your reply I shall give you the contact of the Security Company and my Doctor who is a man of God to communicate with them and claim the donation of the consignment by all means which no one is aware of the contents as money,it was deposited as confidential family valuables for security reasons.
I want you and the church to always pray for me because the lord is my shephard. My happiness is that I lived a life of a worthy Christian
and whoever that Wants to serve the Lord must serve him in spirit and Truth.
Any delay in your reply will give me room in sourcing for another church or individual for this same purpose. Please assure me that you will act accordingly as I Stated herein.
Hoping to receive your reply for more details and pls do not respond if you are not ready to use the funds to work for God.

Remain blessed in the Lord.
Yours sister in Christ,
Mrs. Helen Traore.
