"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Sierra-Leone.The source of your contact gave me courage and confidence
to rely on. Iam writting you in confidence to seek yourassistance to
transfer our cash of fitheen thousand five hundred million US DOLLARS
15.5 MILLION in the costodyof a security and trust company in Abidjan Cote
D'Ivoire to your private account pending our arrival to your country. Source
of the money,My latefather Chief ROLAND SANKOH a native of Mende
District in the northern province of Sierra-Leone,was the general manager
of Sierra-Leone mining corporation(S.L.M.C)freetown.According to him,the
money was miscellaneous income from mining activities,overdraft and
minor sales. Before the civil war between the rebel forces of major Paul
Koromah and ECOMOG peace keeping forces that almost destroyed my
country,following the forceful removal of the democratically elected
President Ahmed Tejan

Kabbah by the rebels,my father had already made arrangement for me,my
younger to be evacuated to Abidjan Cote D'Ivoire with our personal
effects,also directed us where he deposited the trunk box containing the
money inthe custody of security trust company here in Abidjan for safe
custody. Also did not desclosed the real content of the box to the security
company officials. Only deposited it as African Artworks for export to his
foreign partner abroadfor the security of the money. When the war got
over,he will join us with my mother unfortunately, they was killed by the
rebel leaders in the yearof november 1999,when they were planing to
come and join us here. Even many functionaries were attacked and killed
by the rebels because of their loyaltyto the president. Now I am with my
younger Sister here in Abidjan
suffering without any care or help,without any relation,we are now like
refugees and orphans,our only hope now relies on you and the box
deposited in the security company.To this effect, I humbly solicit your kind
assistance in the following ways.

(1)To assist us claim the box from the security company as a co-
beneficairy.


(2)To transfer this money in your name to your country and make a good
arrangement for a joint business investment on our behalf in your country
with you asthe overseer.

(3)To secure a college for my younger Sister and I in your country for us
to further our education.

have transferred the money.
