"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

FROM:FRED KAMBIDA
NO 2-3 NELSON MANDELA AVE,
SANDTON CITY
JOHANNESBURG
SOUTH AFRICA.

Dear Sir,

RE: REQUEST FOR ASSISTANCE.
Obviously, you will be surprised to read from me at this crucial time of my
life, but please this letter is a request from a family in dire need of
assistance. I am Mr. Fred Kambida from Angola. I am the first and only son
of the late BRIGADIER ANOLD KAMBIDA. I am presently living in South Africa.
I got your contact address in the course of a discreet search for a reliable
person in South Africa Chamber of Commerce and industry. I and onbehalf
of my widowed mother Mrs. MARY KAMBIDA i decided to solicit for your
assistance to transfer the sum of US$15.5m inherited from my late father
into your personal/company account.
Before his death, he was a Brigadier in charge of arms and ammunition
procurement for the Angola Army. In his "WILL ", he specifically drew my
attention to US$15.5m, which he deposited in a safe box of a private
Security Company in Johannesburg, South Africa.

INFACT MY FATHER SAID IN HIS WILL AND QUOTE:
Infact I quote'' My beloved son, I wish to draw your attention to US$15.5m,
(FIFTEEN MILLION FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND UNITETD STATES DOLLARS.). I deposited
the box containing the fund in private Security Company in Johannesburg
South Africa. During the war, I was very dedicated to and committed to
winning the war against the rebels until I found out that senior army
officers and government functionaries were busy helping themselves with
government funds and properties and sending them to foreign countries. Due
to this when I and the former Special Adviser to the President were assigned
by the President (JOSE EDUARDO DOSANTOS) to purchase arms in South Africa,
when Nelson Mandela the former President of South Africa stopped selling
arms and ammunition to all war countries in Africa, we saw this as golden
opportunity and diverted the money and shared it and I got the total sum of
US$15.5m. Incase of my absence on earth as a result of death only, you
should solicit for assistance of a reliable foreign partner to assist you to
transfer this money out of South Africa for investment purposes. I deposited
the box in your name with all the documents handed to your mother. Take good
care of your mother and two sisters. Do not come back to Angola until the
war is over and beware of your enemies in our family kindred that are
related us in libito ''.
From the above you will understand that our lives and future of my family
depends on this fund as such I will be grateful if you will assist us. We
are now living in South Africa as political asylum seekers and the financial
law and regulations of the Republic of South Africa does not permit us to
certain rights in South Africa. in view of this I cannot invest this fund in
South Africa hence we are asking for your assistance to transfer this fund
out of South Africa for investment purposes.
For your efforts in assisting us in this transfer, we are offering you 30%
of the total sum and 5% is for all the expences that will be incured from
both sides and 65% is for investment purposes .

Finally, modalities on how this transfer will be carried out has been
carefully worked out and you should include your contact phone and fax
numbers and we shall discuss in details as soon as we hear from you and
established trust and confidence between ourselves. Please treat this matter
as urgent.
Best regards.

MR FRED KAMBIDA.
