Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Dear Sir,



In consonant with the message received from office of the Presidency, which
content is noted. I so much sympathize with you for the long delay in your
consignment. It was as a result of your experience, report and petition from
foreigners like you that made the government of Ghana introduce this system
of consignment delivery via Diplomatic Courier Unit, Accra Ghana, West
Africa sub region.

I was mandated to head the office and deliver with my colleagues, your
consignment to your doorstep. Our mode of operation: -

The Presidency has given me authority as career diplomat to deliver your
consignment to you.
You must be at the airport to receive the diplomat on arrival so that you
will drive straight to your house before you will endorse some documents
confirming that you have received your consignment satisfactorily.

The documents you are to sign enable me feed back report to the Presidency
confirming the receipt of your consignment on the return of the diplomat to
Accra Ghana.

All that is required from you is 1&2 page of your international passport for
identification on arrival at your airport, I will also send copy of the
diplomat passport for identification to you.

You should reconfirm your particulars to enable me verify what I have on
record, as soon as receive all these information I will start proceed by
procuring documents concerning the safe delivery of your consignment which
includes Certificate of Entry, Ghana Drug Clearance etc.

You also inform me of the nearest airport of your convenience to enabling
the diplomat enroute he’s ticket of the airport.

As soon as these documents are ready I will fax them to you.
