"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Read more about such scams here or in our 419 FAQ. Use the Scam-O-Matic to verify suspect emails.

I have checked the status of the transfer the last they said is that the recieved forms from you and are reviewing it.

If it will expire today i have to inform the director as he has advised that nobody touches anything that belongs to the claims inspector.

Dear Nelson,

After submitting your forms to Moneyxfer they informed me they would make a decision once Mr Wilson Jamet has submitted his forms. They set a deadline that I believe expires today.

You should log into Moneyxfer and check for yourselves.

Mr Chioba

I received 10 pages of scanned images from you which were passed on to Moneyxfer. The document file from Moneyxfer I believe runs to over 50 pages. I know that in order to see the images you need the Apple Quicktime viewer on your computer, it is an old programme so you shouldn't have any trouble locating it.

If you cannot see the printed pages maybe your printer needs a new ink cartridge in it?

I gather Moneyxfer are asking you to send all the pages back. They will do the same for Mr Jalmet.
