"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Thank you so much for your very impressive reply.

Not long ago I for some reason started to have more really vivid dreams about Euro cash and gemstones raining around me. And then I curiously managed to win a small Vespa bike in a prize draw. And next I received your email. Is it not a little weird? I hope that I have not commented to you about this in the past and am not boring you yet again but I just found it so strange.

Please understand that I will not let you down. I had already said earlier that we will move on with this wonderful scheme. All I wish for is for you to show some unmistakable proof of how it will work.

Also I have been contemplating: what about European government taxes?

I trust that you would not let me down. I will await a hospitable reply from you.

regards,

Frau Schwatzer

Note: You should be informed that the phone number supplied was unobtainable. Please give me a working number.
