"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Hello Dear

From Youssef Aziz,
Dearest one,
Good a thing to write you. I have a proposal for you, however it is not mandatory nor will I in any manner compel you to honor against your will. Your profile pushed me to send you this mail, my name is Youssef Aziz l i am 20years old,i am a Lebanese bet bet living in ivory coast I am the only Son of late Mr. Aziz Abdel.

My father was a highly reputable business man (a cocoa merchant) who operated in the capital of Ivory coast during his days.
It is sad to say that my parents passed away mysteriously in Lebanon during Israeli Cluster Munitions Hit Civilians in Lebanon on (Beirut,July24,2006).
my father died because he love her mother so much her mother send him mail that she is very sick and she told him all that is happening in Lebanon then he said that he must go to Lebanon for the sake of the mother why people there running away from there country and i read news on BBC and warned him not to go and he refused to take my advice that how he died.

My father took me so special. Before his death, he told me about a box he concealed the sum of Seven million, five hundred thousand United State Dollars.(USD$7.5) deposited in one of the security company's in madrid/spain before he traveled, which he disguised and declared the box to contain family valuables instead of money, by this way the company does not know the true content of the box.
he informed them that it belonged to his foreign partner who will come at later date to claim it. And I really don't know what to do. This is because I have suffered a lot of set backs as a result of incessant political crisis here in Ivory coast. The death of my father actually brought sorrow to my life.

Sir, I am in a sincere desire of your humble assistance in this regards. Your suggestions and ideas will be highly regarded. and also to help me acquire naturalization status in your country.
Thank you so much and God be with you,
Youssef Aziz,
