"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Hello Friend

Thank you for your mail, I hope all is well with you and your family.

When we have agreed on all aspects of the transaction, I will insert your name as the owner of the fund in Takoradi branch, after that, you will apply officially to the bank for the transfer of the fund to your account.

The operation will be quite simple and straight forward, you will have to follow my advice to the later, if you make any slip, we may not get the fund so it is very important for you to listen and follow my advice.

Please notice, that I am still working with this bank, you should maintain the confidential nature of this transaction, if you reveal this transaction to a wrong ear, I may loose my job and my credibility, I hope you understand.

Please give me a telephone and fax number to reach you at all times and also a scanned copy of either your international passport or any identification that you have and also your Age, Sex, Marital Status, Occupation and Country, I need this to bolster my confidence in you and also to put a face to who I am relating with.

God bless you and your family as you reply to this mail.

Kumado

Please for security reasons, always use this email address to reply to me.
