"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

*Mrs. Elena Leonardo
London, UK.

Today, when I awoke, I suddenly realized that this is the best day of my
life, ever. There were times when I wondered if I would make it to today;
but I did! And because I did I'm going to celebrate! Today, I'm going to
celebrate what an unbelievable life I have had so far; the accomplishments,
the many blessings, and, yes, even the sickness, because they have served to
make me stronger. And this New Year, I will touch someone's life.

I am sorry if my email come to you as a surprise, I am Mrs. Elena Leonardo
married to Dr. Henri Leonardo who worked with the Italian Embassy in South
Africa for nine years. I am currently undergoing medical treatment in the UK
following the effect of my husband death. He was on Assignment/vacation to
India during the Tsunami that took Asia by surprise two years ago. My
husband never returned; he died along with others.

Presently I have developed a heart problem and I am currently not able to
move around due to a partial paralysis. I have a feeling time is running out
on me. My late husband left some large sum of money with a well known
deposit company, that I would want you to receive on my behalf. I had
thought I would be able to come out of this and touch as many lives as I can
with this money, but my health is failing me and my strength is getting
weaker by the day. If I die now, the dream of touching someone's life with
my money will die with me that is why I am contacting you; to receive the
said funds and help me to touch lives by helping the less privileged. You
will act as a fund manager for this project and I want you to keep a
percentage of the funds for all that you will do.

I once met a man who I was told has been praying for a wheel chair because
of his sickness. By the time I heard of his problem, he has became partially
paralyzed, but I still bought the wheelchair and took it to him. When he saw
the Wheel chair, he threw himself on the ground and started rolling showing
appreciation because he could no longer speak with his mouth. I was touched
by this gesture and despite my own predicament; I said to myself that if
this man's life has been touched, then it was worth it. If you feel you are
worthy enough to make yourself available in this project, let me know
immediately by replying with your full name, telephone number and contact
address to me. I can assure you that you have nothing to loose and at the
end someone will be happier for what you will do. Because, of my present
location, it is important that you reply back to me through this email: **

to you when I hear from you.*

*I am waiting for your response.

Thank you and God bless.*

*Yours Sincerely,
Mrs. Elena Leonardo.
