"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/502503.stm

since his death, none of his family has come up for this money as his heir, because they all died in the same accident. I want to seek your permission to have you stand as the next of kin to the deceased, all documentations will be carefully worked out to make you the true beneficiary of the sum of Twenty Eight million Five hundred thousand Dollars ($28,500 000.00). These funds will be released in your favour as the next of kin if you will cooperate with me in one accord. The money will be declared as unclaimed and the money transferred to the bank treasury account where the money will be shared amongst the directors of the bank at the end of the banking year. If then you are afraid of handling this fund then let us know before committing us in something that will ruin our profession, Everything here is legal only that matters must be kept confidential. It is on this note I decided to seek for your permission to stand as the next of kin/beneficiary to the deceased instead
of allowing the bank directors to share this money mongst themselves at the end of the year. It may interest you to know hat we have secured from the probate an order of mandamus to locate any of the deceased relatives.
