"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

My good friend,
I make this contact now in good faith because need you as a friend,i am John Amoah,i got your contact from very reliable sources and i would need your friendship and partnership for a business deal involving holding in trust a huge amount of money for me,this money is due to over charges to through inflation of the contract value to contractors for a contract that was executed here in Ghana in the year 2004,this contract had been completed and the contractors who executed the jobs paid in full but I am left with an extra amount left.

The amount is $10.9m united states dollars deposited in cash with a security and finance company in Ghana,i had arranged for this money to be signed out of banking system to avoid monitoring, with confidence of achieving success,i will like to present you to this security and finance company as the beneficiary of the money, this security company will process and send the money to you through a very convenient means and you will safeguard the money when you receive it.

I only hope that you are equal to this task, however you must guarantee me of the safety of the money and your confidentiality that you will not divulge this transaction to any third party because i do not want any problems from my local authority as i have political ambition. We would share the money with 60% percent for me and 40% for your part, this i hope is a very fair offer so that you will not feel cheated,i will travel out of here to meet with you so that i secure my share and do hope that you will help me in investing my own share in any lucrative venture in your country.

I hope that i can find in you a true and reliable partner,i will give you details when i hear from you concerning this issue, waiting for your response.

Regards
John Amoah
