"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: A CALL FOR HELP.

My dear One,
I am the only child of my late father, late Dr Fred Munga from Kwanatal Zulu in Republic of South Africa (SA) and my late mother Mrs Sandrin Munga .I am 22 years of age and I am doing my 3rd year in the university of cape town in south africa. (Medicin) My late father was a limited liability Cocoa and Gold merchant in Johannesburg South Africa before his untimely death. After his business trip to Abidjan -Côte d'Ivoire,to negotiate on a cocoa and gold business he wanted to invest in Abidjan - Côte d'Ivoire. A week after he came back from Abidjan, he was attacked with my mother by unknown assassins, which my mother died instantly but my father died after five days in a private hospital on that faithful afternoon. I didn't know that my father was going to leave me after I had lost my mother. But before he gave up the ghost, it was as if he knew he was going to die, he my father, MAY HIS SOUL REST IN PERFECT PEACE, he disclosed to me that he deposited the sum of
$8,000,000,00 US Dollars (EIGHT MILLION DOLLARS) in a Security Company in Abidjan- Côte d'ivoire.
That the money was meant for his cocoa and Gold company he wanted to establish in Abidjan -Côte d'Ivoire though, according to my father he deposited the money in the Security Company and declared it as family valuables because of the security of the money and handed to me all the relevant documents of the deposit and instructed me to seek for a reliable and trust worthy business partner for my life time investment abroad. I don't have father or mother and more over this money is my only hope in life for now.I know that you will be a good and reliable person and please help and have me as I am part of your family.
Now I have succeeded in locating the Security Company here in Abidjan - Côte d'Ivoire and because of this I left my country and my studies to Abidjan -Côte d'Ivoire which means I am presently in Abidjan now and I don't know anybody here .
Therefore, I am soliciting for your assistance to help me out from the Security Company here in Abidjan and transfer the fund to your account so that we can invest it in any meaningful/lucrative business in your country because this is my only hope and source of livelihood . I am anxiously waiting to hear from you so that we can discuss the modalities of this transaction.I have agreed to give you a certain
percentage out of the total money which is negotiable if you agree to assist me.
Please kindly reply me immediately for more discussion.

Thanks for your kind attention and comprehesion.

Yours sincerely
Tina.
