"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Attn: Cort Kell

I do really understand your plight and your skepticism, but do try and understand that since the taste of the pudding is in the eating, you taste and see.

We do not compel or instigate our winners to make their claim. It is up to individual winner to get his or her winning prize transferred to them in their nominated bank account any where in the world.

As regarding to your question, i will suggest you go through our first notification to you, and then you should be able to note that you did not in any way play this lottery. It is a millennium electronic/scientific computer game in which email addresses were used to promote and encourage all internet users.

Note that for easy claim and to avoid double claiming; we made it compulsory that every winner’s prize be insured on his or her name.

Remember that you are not to pay tax to us for the remittance of your winning prize. Taxes could be paid for your transfer charges, though not from our organization. It is a bank to bank transfer after signing your payment release order which is the most important aspect of the release of your claim. Please bear with us.

Again, we have earlier given you option to choose one on how you would like to sign for your payment release order, as you will be required to come to our office here in the United Kingdom to sigh for your winning prize payment release order yourself for the transfer of your prize into your account any where in the world.

In the situation that you can not be able to visit our office here in United Kingdom, You can visit any of our offshore payment locations that is near to you, as stated in our previous mail to you or alternatively if none of our offshore locations are near to you, an accredited legal council (Lawyer) will be assigned to you, to help you sign for your payment release order on your behalf.

Sir, the option is yours to choose on how to make your claim. You can get in touch with me telephonically on my direct office number +44-703-190-2804.

Congratulations to you once again.

Sincerely,

Phillip Weeks,

(Claim Agent).
