Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Goodday to you out there as I have just got received your contact as a reliable one from a very sensitive source here,With a very desperate need for assistance, I have summed up the courage to contact you as I am Presently working in the Islamic Republic Of Iraq with a reputable International Organisation which I will disclose to you later for extra security reasons.
I am seeking your assistance to evacuate the sum of Euros12,000,000 (Twelve Million European Euros) all in Euros100 bills denomination out to an absolutely safe country , in as much as you can assure me that my own share will be safe in your care untill I complete my services here in the Islamic Republic Of Iraq very soon.
My Dear, I want you to know that this is not a stolen money neither a criminal attained funds.
SOURCE OF MONEY: During the war here in the (I.R.I) Islamic Republic Of Iraq , Some funds in various currencies were ordered to be packed in barrels with piles of weapons and ammunitions at a location near one of Saddam Hussein's old palaces during a rescue operation, and it was jointly agreed by all parties present that the money will be shared amongst us, which was quite an illegal action to take, but I tell you what? no compensation can make up for the risks we have taken with our lives in this hell hole.
The above figure was given to me as my share, and to conceal this amount of money became a problem for me, so with the help of a female UN Contact Personnel (Name Witheld For Now) also working here , whose office enjoys some extra sentimental-opportunity treatments, was able to get the trunk metal boxes (3 in No) to a safe location in The Europe entirely out of danger zone/area, where these have been for the past 8 months which a call from the finance house urgently demands the claim removal from their care as after a period of 12 months will attract extra charges of deposit AND which of course nobody knows the exact contents and must not know, but believes that they belong to an Asian American who died in an air raid, and before giving up, trusted me to hand them over to his business associate partners in the European Continent.
To be very honest with you, i really need you to assist in the area of proper organization pick-up of the three trunk metallic boxes(containing the funds) in Europe as the partner owner of the funds deposited as a consignment in 3 trunk metallic boxes which in otherwords a perfect means of transporting the consignment out of where it is presently to anywhere in the European Continent OR if possible to the United States is required provided the link is very genuine and co-operation/understanding in all ways is applied.
I intend to award you for your efforts with a total of Euros 3Million upon succesful completion , NOTE: I need to discuss with you and know what you feel about this especially in terms of building TRUST & HONESTY.
One appeal I will make to you is not to discuss this matter with a third party for now, should you have reasons to reject this offer, please just destroy this mail as any leak of this info will be very dangerous for me.
