"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Attn: Mr. Steve,

I want you to understand that you are trying to bring the spirit of doubt in this matter, I want you also to know that the woman that asked you to contact us here has already paid every expenses you would have paid before your Consignment of fund left to your Country, but the only money which the Diplomat asked you to pay like I told you initially is for the clearance of your Consignment of fund at the Airport which definitely he must bring it to your home address. Now tell me, how do you expect the Diplomat to bring the Consignment to your house for inspection without it first of all being cleared from the Customs in your Country? Can that be possible? My good friend, sometimes we should try to be rational.
You conclude with the Diplomat and get back tome. Call me; 00229 97-01-66-97

Yours Faithfuly,

Mr. Duke Harrison. (Director)
