"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

Dearest Friend,

My name is Engineer Modibo John Toure the chairman awarding committee with Federal Ministry of Works and Mining with Republic of Ghana.

After our board meeting yesterday, I and my colleague have agreed to stand you as one of the contractors that were awarded the supply of equipments that was used in building our new oil refinery to receive the total sum of $30M into your account for our mutual benefits.

Why you are contact for this transaction is because we the civil servants here in our country are not allowed to operate foreign accounts and also not allowed to make international transfer together with the reason that the real contractor that executed the supplying contract is from your country and have being fully paid living the over valued contract sum of $30M in the foreign reserve account with our Apex Bank.

Meanwhile, this fund was originated from the over valued extracted fund from the total awarded contract sum of US$435M to the original contractor that has been fully paid. Therefore, we need your good cooperation to get this balance transferred into your account as one of unpaid contractor so that all legal documents will be perfected in your names as a contractor with our Government whose payment is not made.

You must be assured that every good arrangement has been putting in motion to ensure the successful transfer of this fund into your account for our mutual benefits with your maximum cooperation.
Your contact was given to us by one of our good friends that work with Microsoft Cooperation. After going through your profile he described you as a capable person to handle this transaction faithfully.

In the above information, we wait to have your urgent reply to enable us provide more details.
Your’s truly,
Engineer Modibo John Toure.
