"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

From: Paschal Welsh (Brompton Chambers, Fulham, London
SW6 1RP, England).

Dear Friend,

My greetings to you. I am Paschal Welsh, I represent Rebecca Nyandeng
de Mabior, wife of John Garang the late vice president of Sudan and
erstwhile leader of Sudan People's Liberation Army (SPLA) who died
on the 30th of July 2005 in a helicopter crash in southern Sudan,
near the border with northeast Uganda.

I am contacting you with the hope that you can be of great
assistance to this family.

The late John Garang was born in 1945 into the Southern Dinka group.
His family were Christians and he went on to study in the United
States.
He studied at Grinnell College,Iowa, USA and earned a PhD in
Agricultural Economics. He later returned to the USA for military
training at Fort Benning, Georgia. He led the Sudan People's
Liberation Army, which fought one of Africa's longest-running wars
for 22 years between the Christians and animist South and the Muslim,
Arab-speakingNorth.The war officially ended and John Garang was
appointed first vice-president - a position he held for only three
weeks before he was killed in a helicopter crash. His inauguration
July 9 2005 was seen as a key to bringing peace to Sudan and as a
chance to resolve other bloody conflicts in Sudan, including the
humanitarian crisis in the western region of Darfur. He was a key
figure in the country's fledgling peace deal and one of the few
senior southerners who really believed in the concept of a united
Sudan.

Since his death, the family has been losing a lot of money due to
indictive government officials who are bent on dealing with the family.

Based on this therefore, his wife has asked me to seek for a foreign
partner who can work with us as to move out the total sum of
US$22,150,000.00 (Twenty Two Million One Hundred and Fifty Thousand
United States Dollars), presently in their possession.

The money is presently kept in the vault of a Security firm.
This money was given secretly to the late John Garang before the peace
deal was brokered by the Malaysian oil Company exploiting oil in upper
Nile Region of South Sudan in return for SPLA not to destroy its oil
operations.

Since this money is still in cash, extra security measures have been
taken to protect it from theft or seizure. He had secretly kept this
money from aides as well as the President Omar al-Bashir led government

whose long-term interest is not in the peace agreement but about
keeping their access to money and power and the oil wealth in the South.

The bid by some government officials to deal with this family has made
it necessary that we seek your assistance in receiving this money and
in investing it on behalf of the family.I have personally worked out
all modalities for the peaceful conclusion of this transaction.

I must let you know that this transaction is 100% risk-free.
Therefore,if you accept we are willing to offer you 30% of the total
sum for your assistance,60% will be for the family's investment in your

country while the balance 10% will be used to help the humanitarian
problem in Southern Sudan by contributing the amount to the Red Cross
and other Humanitarian agencies presently involved in Southern Sudan.

This is what the late John Garang would have wanted.

Please you are required to treat this letter as very confidential as no
other person knows about this money except myself, Rebecca de Mabior
and your very self.

In the event that you are not interested, I sincerely ask that you
disregard this email and respect our trust in you by not exposing this
transaction.

Please reach me immediately through this email address:
paschalwelsh99@walla.com

and send to me your confidential telephone and fax number(s) so that I
can reach you as soon as possible.

I look forward to your earliest reply.

Yours truly,

Paschal Welsh Esq.
