"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dearest friend, Compliments of the day and God blessing\'s to you and
your family. I am glad to inform you that I have successfully concluded
the transaction and the fund has finally been transferred to Japan. As
at the moment, I am presently in Japan with my wife and children. Trust
me, I do not forget your kind assistance to me. In appreciation of your
assistance I have mapped out as a compensation and wrote on your favor a
Cerified Bank Draft worth of US$850,000.00. (Eight Hundred and fifty
Thousand United States Dollars Only) I left the Bank Draft with my
Attorney Barrister Wince Akakpo on my departure to Japan. I would like
you therefore to contact him on the below information so that he can
courier it to you. Name: Barrister Wince Akakpo
(Wince Akakpo &
Associates)
Email: winceakakpo_associate1@yahoo.fr You made me what I am
today though you are not there to complete this project with me but I
gave all the credit and thanks to you. I know it is not your fault or
rather your wish to back up on me and the transaction,I understand it is
simply because of what you must have heard about my continent and her
business opportunities. Actually there are still good ones for example
myself. Direct my attorney on where to courier your Draft to avoid
mailing to a wrong address note that I made provision of $200 for the
courier charges. Regards, Jafaru Manga(John Mark)
