"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Dearest in Christ

Dearest in Christ
I am Mrs Nuela Daniel 51 years old woman. I am married to late Mr. David
Daniel who worked with Kuwait embassy here in Ivory Coast for many years
before he died in 2002. We were both married without a child. He died after
a brief illness that lasted for only four days. Before his death we were
both christians.

Since my husband's death, I decided not to remarry or get a child outside my
matrimonial home. When my late husband was alive, he deposited the sum of
($2.600.000.00) two million six hundred thousand US dollars in Bicici
Bank here in Ivory Coast. Presently this money is still in the bank and my
doctor just informed me that I will not last for the next two months due to
my breast cancer sickness.

The one that disturb me most is my stroke sickness, having known my
condition I decided to donate this money ($2.6m) to the Poor and
les-privileged christians and ophan children in your country through your
kind help by accepting this money into your bank account. You can as well
use the money to build churches to help propagate the good
news of Almighty God

Finally, you will use the remaining money for your own problems and for your
reward for the good job you have done after doing as I have stated herein. I
took this decision because I do not have any child or relation over
here that will inherit this money and my husband's relatives are no where to
be located.

I am not afraid of death hence I know where I am going. I know that I am
going to be in the bosom of almighty God, as soon as I receive your
immediate reply, I will send you the documents covering the fund in the bank
and also send you the email contact information of the bank so that they
will trasfer the money into your bank account before I die.

Please assure me that you will act accordingly as I stated herein and hoping
to receive your urgent reply soonest.

Remain blessed,
Yours faithfully
Mrs Nuela Daniel
