"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Hello Dear,

I am writing to tell you a little about myself and also seek for your advice
and assistance. My name is MS. HAUWA KAMONI , I am 24 Years old, only
daughther of MR & MRS KAMONI. I am survived with my little brother MR. YUSUF
KAMONI who is the beneficiary to a deposit made by my late father DR. WANI
KAMONI in the tune of ($12,500,000.00) Twelve Million Five Hundred Thousand
US dollars deposited at Providence Finance Security Company Accra Ghana.

Our father was killed by the military on the 26th May 2005 during the
ongoing war in Dafour Sudan. Since the death of our parents, we have been
suffering and as refugees in Ghana, life has been so meaningless to us as we
have no one to help us. We are seeking for your assistance to move and
invest this money in your country and to stand as our guidiance and adviser.

We are willing to forward to you by e-mail copies of the documents with
which the deposit were made for your perusal and confirmation. We are not
capable of financing the transfer of this money and thats why we need your
help and by so we are willing to give you 20% of the total amount for your
assistance.
