"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

inconveniences and inflict that we might have indulged you through.
However, we were having some minor problems with our payment system, which
is inexplicable,and have held us stranded and indolent, not having the
aspiration to devote our 100% assiduity in accrediting foreign contract
payments.
We apologise once again.From the records of outstanding contractors due for
payment with the Federal Government of Nigeria, your name and address is on
the list of major contractors who have not received their payments for the
Federal Plateau Project.



I wish to inform you that your payment is being processed and will be
transfered into any bank account of your choice by new private consultant
company to Nigeria National Petroleum corporation (NNPC) as soon as you
acknowlegde this notice.
Also note that from the record in my file your outstanding contract payment
is USD$65.7 Millions Dollars but what we are going to pay you now is 6
million United States Dollars the rest of your money will be paid to you in
the next four months.

Please re-confirm to me if this is inline with what you have in your
record and also re-confirm to me the followings:

1) Your full name.....
2) Phone, fax and mobile #......
3) position and address.....
4) Profession , age and marital status.....
5)equity line of credit yes or no.............


As soon as this information is received and confirmed, your payment
will be transfered to you, Get back to me immedaitely. As a result of the
on-going drive of the Government to update its books and clear payment to
contractors,I strongly recommend that you promptly start your clearance as
soon as possible for more clarification and for immediate transfer of your
fund into your speculated bank account.
