"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

ATTENTION: SIR/MADAM,

HIGHLY CONFIDENTIAL

You may be surprised to receive this message from me since you don't know me in person, but for the purpose of introduction, I am MRS.GLORIA MBONI, the wife of the Late *MR.DAVID MBONI*, who was murdered in a land dispute in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:place w:st="on"><st1:country-region w:st="on">ZIMBABWE</st1:country-region></st1:place>. My late father was among the few black Zimbabwean rich farmers and a strong member of opposition party *MDC* *(MOVEMENT DEOMCRATIC OF CHANGE) who is *murdered in cold blood day by the agent of the ruling government of President ROBERT MUGABE for his alleged support and sympathy for Zimbabwean opposition party. This has been announced day by day to the whole world through BBC AND CNN.

Before the death of my Husband, he took My Son MR.PROMISE MBONI to <st1:country-region w:st="on">SOUTH AFRICA</st1:country-region> to deposit the sum of US$25M (TWENTY FIVE MILLION UNITED STATE DOLLARS) with a *Security and Finance Company*, as if he knew the looming danger in <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:country-region w:st="on">Zimbabwe</st1:country-region></st1:place>. The money was deposited as a gem or precious stone to avoid much demurrage from the Security Firm. This money was made for the purchase of new Machinery and Chemicals for the farms and the establishment of new farms in <st1:country-region w:st="on">Lesotho</st1:country-region> and <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Swaziland</st1:place></st1:country-region>.

This land problem arose when President ROBERT MUGABE introduced a new land Act. Which wholly affects the white rich farmers and some few blacks vehemently condemned the 'MODUS OPERANDI' adopted by the government. This resulted to rampant killing and mob actions. I and my family who are currently staying in <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">South Africa</st1:place></st1:country-region> as a refugee or an asylum seeker have decided to transfer this money to a foreign country where we can invest it. I am faced with the dilemma of investing this amount of money in <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">South Africa</st1:place></st1:country-region> for fear of encountering the same experience in future since both countries have the same political relationship.

<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p> </o:p>

I have meet and agreed after consulting financial expert who humbly advice us that the best way for realizing and safe guarding this fund without South Africa authority being after the money is to involve a foreigner.

<o:p> </o:p>

Moreover, the South African monetary policy/law does not allow such investment hence I am seeking for an asylum or refugee and the nature of your business does not necessary matter. I have two options for you; firstly you can choose to have certain percentage of the money for nominating your account for this transaction. Or you can go into partnership with us for the proper profitable investment of the money in your country whichever options you choose, feel free to notify me I have also mapped out 10% of this money for all kinds of expenses incurred in the process of this transaction.

<o:p> </o:p>

As a person, who I have to entrust my future and of my family in his hands, I must let you know that this transaction is risk free. And upon acceptance of this proposal you are advice to contact my Son Mr.Promise Mboni on his private phone number :( 27-83-8998-131) or Email (promisemboni10@yahoo.ca)for more details of the transaction while I implore you to maintain the absolute secrecy required in this transaction. If you do not prefer a partnership,My family map out 10% for any expense that we might incur at the course of the transfer willing ,20% for you as our foreign partner, while the remaining 70% will be for my investment in your country.
