"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Sir/Madam,


It is with heartfelt,hope that I write to seek your co-operation and assistance in the context stated below.I am Barrister Lazarus Ubaka,the personal Attorney to the Late Engr. Mark Greg Blaker.I got your contact during my search for a reliable person I could do business with, though I do not know you but I seek to ask a favour from you as this will sincerely benefit both of us and all parties involveds.


My Late Client was an Executive Officer of a leading Oil and Servicing Firm in Nigeria for 15 years and he was retired on the 28th day of September 2006.After a month, He and his entire family died on their way to a Conference,schedulled in Abuja in an Automobile crash on the 11th day of November 2006.


Before his death,my Late client Engr. Mark Greg Blaker had a total sum of $10,500,000.00(USD) with a chase chartered bank in Europe,hoping to transfer the funds to his Country { United State Of America},after his retirement,to this regards,the board of Trustees of the bank have directed me to notify the diseased next of kin,which I have done and found out that he has no next of kin,which meant that this funds will be lost to the Government,which we all know will be stolen. In other to avert this development I now seek your indulgence to have you stand as next of kin to my late client Engr. Mark Greg Blaker,so that the fund will be Subsequently transferred and paid into your foreign account.


Since I have been unsuccessful in locating the relatives for close to a year now,I seek your consent to present you as the next of kin to the deceased.I agree to pay you 40% of the fund as the account owner,60% for me.On indicating your interest,all documents and proofs to enable you get this funds will be carefully worked out and i am assuring you a 100% risk free transaction;and as soon as the transaction is made, i will join you in your country for the sharing of the fund.You will be allowed to retain 40% of the total amount after the transaction.If this proposal is okay by you,and you wish to take advantage of the trust bestowed on you,please do write me to enable me furnish you with relevant details of this transactions.Do reply me urgently via my private email;-(lazarusubaka_esq@indiatimes.com).
