"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

- Dear Friend, I am communicating with you believing that you would be able to assist me in handling large volume of money belonging to my late client who died from a plane disaster, we have done everything possible to locate his family but it turned out that the man had no living member of his family before he died, he had the sum of US$15,000,000.00 (Fifteen Million U.S. Dollars) only. This money was deposited in a bank in Nigeria and all the documents are in my position as I am the manager of the bank. I am therefore soliciting your support in moving this money with you assuming a member of his family; I will get all documents ready so that you can have the legal backing to assume ownership of this money. If you agree then write back to me and send your full contact details through my email address chukwubueze199@yahoo.com or chukwubueze1973@yahoo.com and I will tell you the modalities for the movement of the funds and the sharing pattern between you and I. I await your quick response. Best regards, Chukwubueze Isaiah
