"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Subject: STUDY AND REVERT BACK TO ME

Dear Sir/Madam, Foremost let me introduce myself. My names are Mr.
Moore Frank Francis,a Briton and an employee (retailer)of the National Lottery
-UK,in the department of retailing in the company. I am one of the company's
retailers. The duties of
retailers includes selling of tickets to applicants that wishes to play for the
lottery, and also issuance of winner certificates to applicants who subsequently
won. When an applicant confirms that he or she has won,the winner will go back
to the retailer where they purchased their ticket to receive their winner
certificates on presentation of their ticket numbers. The National Lottery -UK is the largest lottery in
the United Kingdom and the whole world, and is regulated by The National Lottery
Commission and coordinated by Australian Lotto. The National Lottery has created
over 2,100 millionaires to date and over £100,000,000 has been won by people
playing draw-based games online,about300,000 grants have been awarded from The
National Lottery, totaling over £21 billion and benefiting all sorts of people
and organizations across the UK and Europe. There are twelve different machines
that can be used for the Lottery draws. The machine and set of lottery balls to
be used is selected at random, and is announced just prior to the draw. The
machines are designated Merlin, Arthur, Galahad, Vyvyan, Lancelot, Garnet,
Topaz, Opal, Amethyst, Moonstone, Pearl and Sapphire. Guinevere has also been a
designated machine in the past but has now been retired. Before I disclose the purpose of my writing to
you,I want you to give me the assurance that whatever I tell you will remain a
secret between the two of us,because I do not intend to work with someone who
cannot keep secrets. That is,you will not discuss or tell it to anyone at all.
In other words,no third party should be involved,it is strictly between the two
of us. The National Lottery company,UK,restricts its
workers, their families, and relatives from apply for the lottery, and this has
hindered employees of the company, their family members, and other persons related
to them from applying. I have worked in this company for a decade(10 years),and
it occurred to me two years(2 years) ago that I can anonymously apply for the
lottery since it does not require the applicants to give their names in order to
apply. It is only when an applicant wins that he or she can then give his or her
names to the retailer where the ticket was purchased in order to be issued a
winner certificate. So I thought I can
apply for the lottery, since I sell the tickets and do not have to go to any
other retailer,and if I wins,I will look for someone,probably a foreigner who
will assist me claim the money. I have been trying
consistently for the past two years like I said earlier, and after failed
attempts, luck finally smiled on me. On Friday 22 August 2008,my ticket won
£56,497,830,with the numbers: 07 27 29 39 50,lucky stars: 05 07,draw numbers:
237,and game name: euromillions. You can view
the National Lottery Uk's site to confirm:

https://www.national-lottery.co.uk/player/p/results/resultsHistory/resultsHistoryAction.do

when it opens,click on
game and select Euromillions. The problem and my
reason for contacting you,is because I cannot claim the money and neither can
any persons related to me. I have decided to
look for a foreigner who will stand as the winner. The reason why I want a
foreigner is because I have spent so much money before I won this prize,so I
would not want anybody to jeopardize my efforts and I want the money to be in a
save country and under the care of a good person, secondly I do not want any
other person to have a knowledge about this, except you. Based on
this I want to ask you to stand as the winner. Let me inform you that you can
claim the money in your country, that is if coming to UK will not be convenient
for you. I will provide for you the winner certificate and ticket numbers that
will convince the NATIONAL LOTTERY ACCOUNTS DEPARTMENT,that you are the genuine
winner.

If we have a deal/agreement I am going to do this legally
without any legal liabilities to you or me now or in the future. But first you
must agree to my conditions because going against it will be detrimental to
hitch freely transfer the money to you.

My conditions are:

1. This
deal must be kept secret forever, and all correspondences will be strictly by
email / telephone, for security purposes.

2. There should be no third
parties in order to maintain maximum confidentiality,(between us).

I
assure and promise to give you 30% of this money, but please assure me of your
keeping this top most secret to protect my job with the lottery
company.

If you agree with
my conditions, I advise you to contact me on my personal email address:

mrmoorefrankfrancisemail@yahoo.co.uk

However,if you do not accept my conditions, please do
not bother to contact me,and kindly delete this mail.

My sincere
regards,
Mr. Moore Frank Francis.
