"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

* STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL* You may be surprised to receive this letter from =
me since you do not know me personally. I am *Mrs. Jane Ndaba* the wife of=
*Mr. Philip Ndaba*, who was recently murdered in the land dispute in Zimb=
abwe.

I got your contact on South African trade journal telephone book directory=
, and I decided to write you. Before the death of my husband, he had taken=
me to South African for annual year holiday in (2002) During our holiday =
he deposited the sum of *US$9.500,000,00. (Nine Million Five Hundred Thous=
and United States Dollars*), in one of the private security companies here=
in South Africa, as if he foresaw the looming danger in Zimbabwe.

This money was deposited in a box as germ stones/family valuable items to =
avoid much demurrage from the Security Company, This amount was meant for =
The purchase of new machines and chemicals for the farms and Establishment=
of a new farm in Swaziland. This land problem came up when Zimbabwean *Mr=
. President Robert* Mugabe introduced a new Land Act reform which wholly a=
ffected all the rich white farmers and some few black farmers. This result=
ed to the killing and mob action by Zimbabwean war veterans and some lunat=
ics in the society. In fact, a lot of people were killed because of this l=
and reformed Act for which my husband was One of the victims. It is agains=
t this background that, I and my children who are currently staying in Sou=
th African decided to transfer my husband money to any country since the l=
aw of South African prohibits refugees from opening any bank account or to=
be involved in any financial transaction throughout the territorial zones=
of South Africa, As the first wife of my husband, I am saddled with the r=
esponsibility of seeking a genuine reliable person with foreign account wh=
ere this money could be transferred into without the knowledge of my gover=
nment who are bent on taking everything.

All I seek for is an honest person, whom I can entrust my Future and that =
of my son, I must also let you know that this transaction is *100%* risk f=
ree. If you accept to assist me and my son, all I want from you is for you=
to make arrangements and come to South African, so that you can help me o=
pen a non-resident account in your name in any co mmercial bank here in So=
uth Africa, which will aid us in transferring the money into any account y=
ou will nominate overseas. This money I intend to use for investment and g=
rowth in your country.=20

I have two options for you, firstly you can choose to have certain percent=
age of the money for nominating your account for this Transaction or you c=
an go into partnership with me and my son for the proper profitable invest=
ment of the money in your Country. Whichever the option you want, feel fre=
e to notify me. I have also mapped out* 5%* of this money for all kinds of=
expenses we might insure in the process of this transaction. If you do no=
t prefer a partnership I am willing To give you *20%* of the money while t=
he remaining *75%* will remain for I and my son.=20

If you are really capable and willing to assist me please contact my son D=
avid Ndaba immediately who is in South Africa with the above Telephone and=
e-mail address: Finally, please treat this matter as urgent as possible, =
I'm in Dire need to leave this country so onest. Thanks for your mutual co=
-operation.I expect your soonest response.

Best Regards,
*Mrs. Jane Ndaba.*=20
