"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Will You Be So Caring To Do This For Me

Dear Beloved,

I am most privileged to be writing you today. Without wasting much of your
time i wish to inform you that favour has behold you this year as i have
finally decided to contact you.

My name is Wilson Ibia Jnr. The son of Late Wilson Ibia who worked with the
world bank during the 1990s. He retired from service in 1999 due to his ill
health due to cancer. He later died of the disease on March 19th 2005.I know
you must be bored with my story but wait for a while as i will soon tell you
what is of importance to you.

You see, i am presently 19 years old and i have since finished my Secondary
education (high school). My wish is to come to your country and study in the
University (College).. This will cost some money BUT money is not the
problem. The problem is having someone over there that can look after me and
show me around before i understand the environment and society at large.

Will you be so caring to do this for me? well if you wish to do it then here
is what is in for you.

Presently i have funds totaling 34million United states dollars. Which my
late father left behind. The truth is that i haven't seen this money but my
dad left it in a security company.

If you are found worthy of working with me, then you can have 40% of the
money i.e, 13.6 Million Dollars.

Don't be too alarmed at the offer. there is enough money to go round and also
there are criteria involved.

1... You should be ready to come over to my country and start the visa
processing together immediately you get my father's funds.

2... You will go with me to the security company to withdraw the boxes which
my dad used in securing the funds.

3.. You must agree to treat me with love when we get to your country.

4.. You should have some assets or business or property to defend the funds
when you deposit it in your local bank.

Why i really need you...

You see, with you by my side, the embassy will readily grant us Visa because
you are a citizen from your country. Also as a foreigner who is also advanced
in age, there wouldn't be any trouble getting the money out of my country.

Please this is not a joke or internet scam of any kind. YOU WILL NEVER BE
ASKED TO PAY ME ANY MONEY.

HERE IS MY CONTACT DETAILS:

Regards,
Wilson Ibia Jnr
