"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: I NEED YOUR URGENT REPLY

LAWSON Richard,
Direct adviser,
Lomé-TOGO.

It is with an infinite joy that i want to share this endless opportunity
deeply with you. I am Togoless, direct adviser of the late blue NYASSINGBE
Eyadema, the guiding ex-President of the REPUBLIC OF TOGO;which one
day, during a conseil of jobs, had courage to manifest my docility,my courtesy
and my respect towards him. What allowed him to put all its trust in me and
introduces me the most parts of his secrets most intimes and his most hidden
places. After his decease in February 2005,i had rushed on places where i
could take without trace a safe containing a sum of $20.000.000 us.Being
able to put this big inheritance in none of our Banks,i put it in an
Association of Security and Management of the Property of other people in
Accra, the capital of the Republic of GHANA,since June 2006 for fear that it
is grab.In view of the title that carried my passport,i can travel under any
circumstances with the present destiny.

Not wanting to share this godsend either with a togoless or a
ghanaian,i search a person worthy of the name who can come to take this
silver which it will go to invest in a big Society abroad from which he will
be the administrator;happily i fell on your address and i am sure that you
are that person who will be able to make this transaction and manage
treasure;and this further to a general agreement one will decide on which
between you and me here in Accra(GHANA).
I ask you to agree to Mister, the expression of my high consideration.

LAWSON Richard.
