"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I am happy to tell you with great joy that I have recovered fully from the sickness which doctors confirmed that I was not going to survive it after series of test and diagnosis and operations, I was even in comma for couple of weeks they said.

So I want you to join me thank God for his infinite mercies and grace by bring MR. KEN PETERS, who came from UK and gave me the encouragement and support that I can live and the cancer healed completely.

But because of the joy in my heart and to be thankful to God for his marvellous work in my life, I have decided to be retributive to all the people that helped or encouraged me in one way or the other during my odd days.

Before I left Benin Republic where I was having treatment, I made a cheque of $45,000 for you , which I left with a man of God called Prophet Johnson Godswill , I want you to manage that little token from me as a sign of my appreciation for your attention and time within the period I and Lawyer Barrister Barry Harrison was communicating with you.

Yours Sister in the Lord,
Mrs Christiana Kuti.
