"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: your attention

Please your assistance is urgently needed to effect
remittance of US$12,100,000.00 to your personal
account. This money originated from balanced account of
the Australian oil merchant Engr.Jerry Creek, who
along with his wife died in the ill-fated airplane crash of 1999.

As at the time of the couples' death, he had a closing
account balance of US$12,100,000.oom with our bank.
Expectedly, this sum is to be paid to his next of kin
or any of his known relative that present him or
herself for the claim. Unfortunately, this is not to
be; no known relative has come forth till date even as
I write you this email message.

Therefore, I deem it fit to contact and acquaint you
with the necessary details and facts so that the total
sum [stated above] is paid to you as legatee of the
late Engr.Jerry Creek. Thereafter I travel to meet
with you as soon as you received the funds for our
private use. Otherwise, this money will be declared"
unclaimed” and paid into a war account.

Please kindly reach me immediately<jkaggrey@yahoo.com>
for necessary details on how to receive the money for
our private use.
I await your prompt response.
Yours faithfully

J K Aggrey
