"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

My husband Umaru Musa Yar'Adua was born 16 August 1951 and died 5 May
2010, he was the President of Nigeria and the 13th Head of State. He
served as governor of Katsina State in northern Nigeria from 29 May 1999
to 28 May 2007. He was declared the winner of the controversial Nigerian
presidential election held on 21 April 2007, and was sworn in on 29 May
2007. He was a member of the ruling People's Democratic Party (PDP). In
2009, Yar'Adua left for Saudi Arabia to receive treatment for
pericarditis. He returned to Nigeria in 2010, where he died on May 5. A
contract of three hundred and fifty million Naria was awarded to a company
in South Africa via my husband's power during his illness days at Saudi
Arabia, now that he is dead we can not i want someone i can use his name
and contacts to move the money to his bank account, i will award 30
percent of the total sum to you if you help me out. Due to my culture i'm
not allow to make use of phone so it's good we communicate via e-mail.
