"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: FAMILY ASSISTANCE

From: Mr. Alan
Lugor
Johannesburg, South
Africa.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Permit me to
introduce this business proposal assistance to you. I am Mr. Alan Lugor, the son
of Former Personal Adviser on Arms Control to the Former Sudan Minister of
Defense, late Lt. Gen. Robert Lugor. My father died in a plane crash along side
with the Minister and other Senior Military Officials. You can read the sad
story at: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/ africa/7380412.stm

I got your contact
information from South Africa Business Investment Solution (SABIS). I am
contacting you for your honest assistance to transfer and investment of the sum
of US$24 Million, into your company or private account in your country.
This fund was acquired by my father from the purchase of arms deal for the Sudan
People's Liberation Movement (SPLM) military wing, as a result of decades of war
in my country that is still going on now. Due to several threats from the
incumbent president, Omar Al-Bashir who has denied any Government involvement in
master minding the death of my father and other officers, we manage to escape
from my country to South Africa as POLITICAL ASYLUM SEEKERS. Against this back
drop, this money was deposited in a security company in South Africa .

Upon our arrival, we
realize that the financial policy of this country does not permit us certain
financial rights to access such huge amount of money. This is why I seek your
assistance. Kindly indicate your interest by sending me an email at: lugor-family@gala.net  with your full names, brief description of your business
and your private telephone number, or you can call me on this
telephone number: +27739295995, for more details, then we can
take it from there. We are willing to offer you 30% of the total money for your
assistance and co-operation in this venture, while the remaining will be for my
family investment in your country. This offer is open for negotiation. Do
remember that this transaction requires utmost trust and confidentiality.

Thanks in anticipation
to your co-operation and God Bless.

Yours Truly,
Alan Lugor
(For The
Family)
