"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Hello there,

It is understandable that you might be a little bit apprehensive because you do not know me, Please forgive this unusual manner to contact you, but this particular

letter is of exceptional and very private nature and I want to believe that you will be human enough to be honest with me for bringing you into a secured deal capable

of fetching us both something tangible for life without any regrets whatsoever and I am very sure that this transaction will certainly bring us both together for more

business and inter family relationship.

Having said this, I will now tell you more about myself. I am Barrister Robert Artabra, the principal attorney of RA & Co Chambers. I am married with three children a

boy and 2 lovely daughters. I was the personal attorney to Late Mr. Sydney Oleg who was involved in a car accident with his family in Barcelona, Spain on a vacation.

All occupants of the vehicle unfortunately lost their lives. Since then I have made several inquiries here to locate any of my clients extended relatives, this has

also proved unsuccessful. I have done everything possible to trace the relatives of my late client without any luck. Mr. Oleg is an international business man in the

Oil & Gas industry. He once has a minning company in Russia before his company was dissolved by the Government due to the fact that he was sponsoring the incubent

Governments political opponnents. Anyways, he relocated to England with his family which was how I got to meet him and I have been his attorney and Personal Assistance

ever since.

I know you must be wondering what all of these has got to do with you. Anyways, before his death, he placed a very large amount of funds in a secure deposit here in

England. This deposit was supposed to be given to his family upon his demise but since I cannot get in touch with any of his family, I want you to stand in as his next

of kin to claim the funds. Of course, I know that you may or not be related to late Mr. Oleg but I made a thorough inquiry and search and I was 100% convinced that he

had no-known relative at all as I have been his personal attorney for years before his sudden death. Note that the next of kinship as stated by the inheritance laws of

the United Kingdom is not limited to relations of the deceased nor is it confided to the circuit of parental relationship, rather it is by choice of the Benefactor as

regards to whom he/she wishes to will it to (Beneficiary) either formally by write up, or informally by secret information disclosure to Beneficiary, be him/her

business partner, relation, friend or well wisher, therefore by virtue of the above stated, I SEEK YOUR CONSENT TO PRESENT YOU AS THE NEXT OF KIN TO MY LATE CLIENT.

The most important issue to be considered now is trust and confidence in this matter hence I plead that this should be our watchword. And I can fully assure you on my

own part that as much as we are together I will always remain the same. The amount of funds in question is $18.3 Million US DOllars, so you can see we are talking

about a lot of funds here.

Consider this email as an introduction letter. If you show me your desire to work with me, I will give you all the details about how this will work and also the

percentage of the sharring. Please note that this is a very serious proposal and I hope you will take this very serious. I have all the documents and will prepare all

the legal paperworks to back up this claim. Please kindly respond back to my email below. You should reply with your direct telephone, fax and contact address for

further communication. If however you are not inetersted in this deal, I will appreciate if you can notify me so that I can make alternate arrangements.

Thank you and remain blessed.
