"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: HOW ARE YOU TODAY,

HOW ARE YOU TODAY,

This is a reminder email to inform you that the deadline date for the confiscation of
the Graham Robert fund amounting to ($ 155,600,000 USD) willed to you for the purpose
of charity remains the 4th of February 2011. I expected that by now you should have
claimed the funds and commenced the charity work Graham Robert WILLED to you before his
death.

You are to ensure that you act fast to meet the dead line date, you are to note that
the only delay in this transaction is from your end. Your inability to raise the bank
activation charges has really cursed a lot for this transaction, on that note the fee
was reduced to (1,116 USD) but you refuse to comply with the transferring bank
directives. I urge you to at this point go ahead and pay the fee to enable the
transferring bank to transfer your funds to your account.

I await your immediate response to this email as soon as possible.

Have a nice day
Charles Stanley
