"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

This is to bring to your notice that, I have paid the re-activation and delivery charge of your CONSIGNMENT BOX. I paid it because the CONSIGNMENT worth  (USD$2.7MILLION), has no less than 15 days to expire and when it expires, the money will divert and forfeited into Government purse (ACCOUNT).With that I decided to help you pay the re-activation fee and the delivery charge so that the BOX will not expire,

Now I want you to contact FedEx Courier Company with your Full delivery information’s so that they can deliver your CONSIGNMENT BOX to your designated address within 48HRS, like I stated earlier. The delivery charges has been paid but I did not pay their official keeping fees because they refused. the reason is that, they do not know when you are going to contact them and the demurrage might increase. They told me that their keeping fees is $35.00 per day and I registered the box today being Friday 11 Feb, 2011.
