"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Dying Woman

Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is Mrs. Helen Aaron. I am a dying woman who had decided to
donate what I have to you. I am 62 years old and was diagnosed for cancer
about 2 Years ago. I have been touched to donate from what I have
inherited from my late husband to you for a good humanitarian work, rather
than allow my Relatives to misuse my husband's hard earned funds. I will be
going in for an Operation very soon in an hospital here in UNITED KINGDOM
and I pray that I survive the operation. I have decided to WILL the Sum of
$10,500,000(Ten Million, Five Hundred Thousand US Dollars) to you for a
good humanitarian services, i.e to take care of the orphanage, the needy
and to help the motherless children. Presently, I have informed my Doctor
about my decision in WILLING this fund to you. My Doctor’s name is Dr
Daniel Hamilton. If you are interested in carrying out this task, contact my
Doctor through his email address below:
Email : drhalmiltondaniel@yahoo.com
After which he will arrange and tell you how the funds will be release to
you. He and my Lawyer will help you facilitate the release of the funds to
you. The total amount of ($10,500,000.00) will be release to you. I know I
have never meet you but i am working in accordance with my instinct and i
do hope you act sincerely. Please contact my Doctor Immediately. You have to
note that I can hardly read emails or receive phone calls for now. You can
get any information you need from my Doctor and he shall always report to
me and give you my word in return.
