"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Sad Situation / Payment Update

Dear,

I am very concerned about how you are been lied to, how you have spent so much in pursuit of your money owed to you. From Access Bank to J P Morgan, from Canada to China, from London to Dakar Senegal, from AIG to Bank Executives, from President Jonathan to Central Bank of West Africa, from Mallam Sanusi to Charles Solution to Senate President, from HSBC to Lloyds, Bank of America to Chase, from Cash payment to ATM card and so many more. It is disheartening.

My heart bleeds for you, they have taken your name to all spiritual places whereby whatever they tell you, you believe them, they have cursed your name to a point you are restless; I wonder how your heart beat is at this moment, your blood pressure I know is on the high side, my advise for you is to stop all further communication with these people.

Your payment has been approved, which I was appointed as the Chairman of the commission by the Presidency to oversee this. I will give you my full details and dossier immediately I get your response.

Regards,
Dr. Shamsudeen Usman
Minister, National Planning Commission
