"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Attention: beneficiary

Sir,

RE: SETTLEMENT OF OUTSTANDING CONTRACT FUND/INHERITANCE FUND.

We write to bring to your notice that due to the recent extra ordinary meeting jointly held with the United Nations/ World Bank, their International Bank of Settlement and some
Financial Institutions Worldwide where issues deliberated among others are matters concerning settlement of Foreign Debts and bringing ways to abolish government stringent
conditions imposed by these Finance Houses prior to transfer of funds.

This email is to all the foreign contractors that their contract payments are still pending, includes Inheritance and Lottery payment and unfinished transaction that their payment have not been received by the beneficiary due to Government problems etc. We found your name in our list and that is why we are contacting you, this have been agreed upon and
have been signed after the meeting with the World Bank/United Nation.

Other measures aimed at restoring confidence to foreign contractors to the continent were discussed. However, the United Nation representatives having watched these ugly developments, and came up with the following resolutions to avoid future re-occurrence of these unfortunate developments especially to foreign contractors (who were denied the
opportunity of receiving their funds years back). The resolutions are as follows: That beneficiaries that are yet to receive their funds are advised not travel to any payment offices in any country to receive their funds unless it is approved by the United Nation, and that payment of funds should be paid on the description or method of payment chosen by
the beneficiary of the fund concerned either by Telegraphic transfer or issuance of demand draft or by issuance ATM Card that will be acceptable in any ATM machine worldwide.

In view of the above, the United Nation has noted that you are one among the foreign Contractors/Inheritance Beneficiaries listed that were affected by these bureaucracies and therefore, write to notify you that your outstanding contract/inheritance payment will be effected through the World Bank or any bank appointed by them. As your fund has been moved to them to make the remittance.

You are urgently required to forward your payment details including your Contract and Banking details to Mr. Mark George of the (UNITED NATION) Account Representative with the World Bank, for re-confirmation of your payment details and further transfer of your funds, through email: unrepmark2@qip.ru Be aware that the re-confirmation/ reconciliation of contract/inheritance payment details is necessitated in accordance to financial provisions guiding international monetary transaction, which took absolute effect after the terrorist attack on USA, restricting all financial institutions from transferring money internationally without proper verification of the source of fund concerned. Kindly, note that the remittance of your fund will be effected to your bank account within 48 hours upon
the confirmation of your banking details tallying with your payment details presently with Mr. Mark George of the UNITED NATION Representative with the World Bank.

Best Regards,

DR. ELVES COLLINS. P.A. (P.R.O)
