"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Attn. Sir/Madam,
Compliments of the good season. How you and members of your family, hope all are is fine with you over there.
No doubt you would want to know who is contacting you on this medium. For the purposes of introduction, my name is Mr. Davies Bongoville, a citizen of the Republic of Gabon. I am the son of the late Mr. Safeddine Bongoville, the former Central Bank of Gabon Official in the Minting Department of the Bank.
My late Father in the company of 3 of his colleagues in the Office collaborated and printed some money which was worth 35 Million and this said amount was printing for the use of my late Father and his partners, but unfortunately, they were caught through the surveillance Camera in their Office and this led to their arrest, sadly, barely after about 2 years he died in detention as a result of heart-failure.
However, this money in question was packed in a Metallic trunk Box which my Mother succeeded in hiding away when the Management of the Bank and the Police came after my family. Fortunately, all efforts and search for this Trunk Box by the Police proved abortive because my Mother was careful enough to hide it away.
Having taking about 3 years of this incident and the case having been struck off, I and my Mother now have decided to diplomatically ship this Box to Republic of South Africa where we can now be able to make use of this fortune for the future of the Family having lost our lovely Father as a result of this development. Luckily for us, I was able to carry this luggage by road, crossing a lot of borders which includes Angola to Namibia and from there to Botswana where I finally smuggled it into South Africa, where I am now lodged in the Protea Hotels, Klerksdorp.
I am now kindly contacting you based on the fact that you are a South African Citizen whom I can give my trust over this fortune, believing that you will not use your position to cheat or rob me of this and also to helping me in investing this huge amount in any area of profitable business ventures.
As a matter of fact, it would please me to show you some samples of this said money for your confirmation and perhaps transactions. You can take it to your Bank or for shopping for confirmation if you so wish. Please, this transaction requires nothing but utmost confidentiality and trust.
I urge you to kindly help me in this matter and as well corporate with me in executing this deal so that we can help and better our future with his opportunity.
Note that as I am carrying this Box with me lodged together in the Hotel where I am presently staying and it is put up as a storage under the Hotel Management and nobody including the Officials of the Hotel knows the real contents of this said Box, and remember I do not know anybody here nor have any friend hence I am hiding myself. The only person or friend I have here now is you whom I am contacting for this purpose alone.
Please, kindly contact me over this only where you are interested and willing to help me, and where you are not interested, kindly do not contact or broadcast me because as you know I and this Box are declared wanted in my Country, Republic of Gabon. You can kindly contact me on my tel. No. as follows: +27 837-299-280.
NOTE: Like I said before, this deal requires only honesty and confidentiality; I simply want to trust you and also believe that you will not betray my trust for your person.
Contact me through the above phone number,
Best regard,
Mr. Davies Bongoville,
